Subbulakshmi at United NationsMaithreem Bhajatha song was written by His Holiness Jagathguru Sankarracharya SriChandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt who was famously knownas "Paramaachaarya".On the ocassion of 25th Anniversary of the United Nations in the year 1966 Nightingale ofIndia & Bharat Ratna Srimati M.S.Subbulakshmi was got invitation from U.N. to sing at there.Parammacharya wrote and gave this sanskrit song to Smt.
